Silent Hill Book of Memories

During the disappointingly stale pre-recorder Konami pre-E3 press conference video, they slipped in this little announcement for the upcoming, formerly NGP now Vita, Sony portable, Silent Hill: Book of Memories is an apparent exclusive for the new system, though they didn’t show anymore than this logo shot, which Sony has a poor track record with, paying out for logos of promised game announcements from third parties that then never materialize, such as that Resident Evil PSP game, Devil May Cry PSP, Agent, etc.

Though it’s reasonable to presume that the previous PSP Silent Hill titles did no worse than the other entries in this consistently, and dramatically declining series.

Silent Hill Downpour E3 Trailer

Friday, June 3rd, 2011

Konami released the E3 trailer for their latest attempt to resurrect their beloved, but poor selling, horror franchise, and it looks pretty damn good. It looks much better than the last HD game, and while it might not be quite as experimental as the Wii Silent Hill it definitely isn’t coming off as another bland rehash so far.

Silent Hill Multiplayer For XBLA

Picture A Dead Nurse In Place Of Snake

There’s a rumor swirling about the internet saying that, according to Xbox 360 Magazine Italy, there will be a multiplay Silent Hill game for XBLA where players have to survive in the town of Silent Hill. Seems somewhat insane, but Konami is the company self-destructive enough to do it. Perhaps it could be fun, the Resident Evil Outbreak games never really had a proper shot because they just came to early for proper online console gaming.

Konami Announces Time Hollow For DS

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

Time Hollow is an adventure game. You play as a high school student. The day before your 17th birthday, your dad tells you that he has something important to tell you, the next day. That night, you see a dream. In the dream, you’re a child and you’re surrounded by fire, and your parents disappear. You wake up and the world has changed so that your parents actually disappered 12 years ago, and you also come into posession of a mysterious item called the Hallow Pen. This allows you to open holes into the past and change past events. This is the key to figuring out what happened to make the world suddenly change. The main character’s name is Horo Tokio.

The gameplay system works like this: someone changes the past, causing an incident to occur. You speak to people and find out what changed and what needs to be fixed. By using the “hollow pen,” the main character can draw a circle anywhere in the world and jump back into the past to fix it.

Time Hollow is set for 2008 winter release in Japan
