A Brazillian blog has 1uped 1up with the leak of these two new Street Fighter IV pics, and these bits of information about the game:
The graphics are not there very similar to that teaser that everyone saw time ago. The game is still pretty, but not all have that style. No remnants of ink or something like that. The direction of art is interesting. Unlike other games of struggle polygonal, SFIV not intended to be photo-realistic.
Street Fighter IV runs at 60 frames per second.
Street Fighter IV will have an online mode.
The game is going after Super Street Fighter II and before SFIII. A good part of that is that the cast of fighters is basically composed more by characters antigões and some totally new – apparently, the cast is with two new women so far. It seems that we will not have characters of SFIII.
The scenario you saw the picture of 1up, if not understood, is the scene of Chun-Li in SFII.
The excellent system of Parry of SFIII no longer exists. The new system appears to be called Saving or Revenge (we are not very certain about the name). We do not know for sure how it works, only that involves cancellations. However, we know that in addition to the bar of Super, we have another to enable Saving / Revenge.
Besides the Supers (not yet set to follow the model of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo or SFIII), we are also the Ultras, which despejam an automatic sequence of several blows. It is almost a Custom Combo… without being Custom.
Shen Long may finally appear in Street Fighter IV. Not a joke.
Platforms really are not defined. But assuming that there will be online mode, it is clear that we can assume that Xbox 360 and PS3. An arcade version without online mode, should be available too, and even our source said that the team is considering a version of tests for arcades to the Japanese half of 2008.
