Doug Church Joining Valve

Doug Church, for those who don’t know, is a creative genius. The man had a hand in tons of amazing, and truly groundbreaking games like Ultima, Thief, System Shock, Freedom Force, and even more current high quality casual style games like Boom Blox, and this guy just got picked up by the epicenter of brilliant western game developement Valve. One can only hope that he can create something amazing there, or for that matter help with something that should already be working towards being amazing like Half Life 3. Personally I just want another game that can shift my entire perception on gaming like Thief 2 did back when it came out. That shouldn’t be too much to ask from a man like Doug Church.
