Metro 2033 is one of the bigger hits to come out of the Eastern block developers recently, leading to the upcoming sequel Metro Last Light. Here we have the pre E3 trailer for that game, though it really is more of a teaser, they’re hopefully holding something better back for when the real E3 gets rolling in a couple days.
Spike, always good for some shilling for the most mainstream, and biggest budget crap, was there for Naughty Dog when they needed someone to dump out some co-op footage for their interactive movie experience Uncharted 3 Drake’s Deception.
Because no one ever gets tired of licensed superhero games, here comes yet another Spider-Man game, not connected to any film, but to a less popular bad idea, can it live up to Web Of Shadows or that other multi timeline Spider-Man game that just came out yesterday? Only Kirsten Dunst knows for sure, but you can make your best guess after watching this trailer:
Spike’s pre E3 extravaganza included this trailer for Prey 2, the developers better be praying that it’s better than Prey 1 if they want to effectively compete against all the other mediocre console shooters on the market. This looks good for a bunch of CG concept design target BS.
Another trailer out of Geoff Keighly’s vanity project #46, it’s of course a teaser that conveys absolutely nothing about the game, so if you have any hope left for this being a true successor to SSX Tricky, or SSX 3 enjoy that feeling now, cause those hope should soon be dashed with a proper reveal at E3.
One of the few games to actually show anything from the actual game on the pre E3 GT.TV special, this Soul Calibur V gameplay footage looks quite a bit like Soul Calibur IV, just with less Star Wars characters.
Gametrailers released this CG trailer for the new Tomb Raider on their show with the horrible Geoff Keighly, though if you had some patience or are lucky enough to have a cable package that doesn’t include Spike, you can now watch it for the first time in SD or HD without a Geoff Keighly intro here:
During CD Projekt’s gloriously awkward pre-E3 live stream, they announced that there will be a special $10 off promotion on The Witcher 2 at retail locations, online, and on Steam through E3.
This is a game that is easily worth full price, don’t pass it up at $40.
CD Projekt is currently live streaming their pre-E3 summer conference, and announced their first week sales numbers. The Witcher 2 sold a spectacular 400,000 units in it’s first week alone. This is a huge success for CD Projekt, and for high quality PC gaming, unfortunate that they still have to waste any effort on the forthcoming Xbox 360 downgraded version.
Squeenix unloaded this new gameplay trailer for Deus Ex Human Revolution. It’s primarily to show off playing through the same area YOUR way, so it’s a bit repetitive. Honestly this game looks worse every time they show anything outside of a cutscene, all I see is Alpha Protocol with better combat and less dialog options.
